From DJ to Audio Maestro
My journey in sound began as a DJ when I was young. I performed as a professional DJ for over 20 years before branching into audio engineering and sound design. In 2014, I earned my DJ Certification from the renowned Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles, my first official training in the magical world of music and audio.

A Symphony of Learning
After retiring from the military, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Audio Production at Full Sail University, also acquiring a Pro Tools Operator Music Certification from AVID.

Passion Meets Expertise
During my studies, I discovered a deep passion for sound design, honing my skills in vocal engineering, mixing, and mastering. I graduated at the top of my class in October 2021.

DJ AVZO – Professional Mobile DJ Services
As a professional mobile DJ, I performed numerous events including weddings, parties, corporate events, military functions, outdoor events, and many more. In this role I created mixes, adjusted for any acoustic issues, and occasionally acted as the event coordinator for my clients.
My experience with several DAWS began with my DJ gigs. I began working with Ableton before beginning my studies at Full Sail University. I expanded my experience to include Pro Tools, Logic Pro and other software to create mixes, transitions, and original beat mixes.
